One of the most awesome things about our wine crate cat tree is that the top tier of the tree is a fairly deep wine crate, which creates a “safe space” for the cat who hangs out there. Any cat in the top tier of that cat tree feels enclosed and secure, which helps him relax.
Pierre is usually the cat in residence on top of the cat tree.
Recently, the humans thought the thin cushion in the cat tree might not be comfortable, so they got a thicker, softer cushion and put it inside the wine crate at the top of the cat tree.
Pierre: I don’t think this is working for me. Can I have the old cushion back?
What?! The humans missed the whole point with that.
That’s a cool place to hides! Humans can be so silly at times, hopes they listened and put the perfect pad back for you!

One thing humans can never get is that comfort for us is way different from comfort for them. Sometimes I wish they would just stop projecting on us!
