Ashton: When I least expected it, the head peep grabbed me and put me on the floor. Then Aunt Orvis helped hold me upside down so they could examine my tummy. I sang a song of my people in embarrassment.
Then the head peep said that my tummy looked much better. I could have told you that! I bathe my tummy all the time, and I know exactly what it looks like. It looks NOT FOR YOUR EYES, peeps! There’s no privacy around here at all.
The good news is that this means I don’t have to go to the vet or have any more medicine. I’m very thankful for that. And I’m also thankful for all of your purrs and good wishes while we didn’t know what was wrong with me. We still don’t, though we think maybe I was bitten by a spider. Either way, I am mostly better now.
What do you mean, you may want to look again in another week, just to be sure? I’m going to be under the bed that week, sorry.

Ashton we feel for your indignities and sympathise for the awful trauma you’ve been put through. Still at least you won’t have to be subjected to the vet staring at your tummy again. Extra treats may help you feel calmer.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Sing your song loud and proud! But we’re glad your tummy is better. Purrs to you!
Ashton – SO happy your tummy is feeling better. Many happy purrs from your people up north. Sing out our “song of embarrassment” and know that we sing in solidarity with you!
Oh Ashton, that is such good news that you are better. We sure are glad to hear that. Have yourselves a great day.
Ashton you crack me up…so it was you I heard singing the song of your people. I thought it was screech owl. Yes indeed a previous appt with the underside of the bed is purrfect for next week.
Hugs madi your bfff
Ohhhh….those Peeps are very sneaky, Ashton. We think you might need to camp UTB for the rest of the week if you want to be sure they can’t get you.
But that’s great news about your tummy being all better!
Ashton, this is great news, we’re so glad you don’t have to go back to the vet!
Hooray, pretty Ashton! I’m so happy for you that your tummy is better, and, even better, you don’t need more medicine or vet visits.

Your peeps need some more training. They need to feel the teeth of your people.
The nerve of it all! Wherever will they look next?
(we are glad your tummy is up to snuff and no more you-know-what visits)
Oh, the horror, Ashton!
Oh noes and the peeps didn’t believe you? Glad to hear you’re better.
Despite the lack of privacy, we’re glad to hear that your tummy gets better now. Purrs
YAY!!! Since we are so late we hope your tummy is still lookin’ fine! Love, Cody and Caren
