Pierre: What are you staring at? You’ve never seen a toy attack back before?

Pierre_vs_neko_fly03_sm

The photos above illustrate why it’s always important for string-based toys to never be played with unsupervised. Pierre wasn’t hurt, but his expression of disapproval made it clear that he wasn’t happy when the neko fly “attacked” his lower jaw.

Those photos made us MOL! While the Neko Flies or Da Bird haven’t messed with our jaws, they have wrapped themselves around our kinked tails and we absolutely hate that! It makes us run and Mommy has to release the wand or she may rip off our tails and then we have the wand coming after us too. AWFUL!

You’re so right about string toys. ‘Specially since Zoey likes to eat them.

When Annabelle and I play with her Neko, I always have to be careful because she will move so fast that it will wrap around her paw and then she takes off so like you I try very very hard to make sure she isn’t ever hurt.

Whoa! Pierre, that is so unfair. This morning TW finally felt well enough to play with me and I snatch a string out from her hands. She let out a scream and panicked before she saw it on the ground.

it looked like you were flossing, Pierre! our Minnie especially chews on the strings to try to “free” the toy, so mom has to be careful when she is playin with us.

OMC! One time a magic fishie wrapped itself around me when the Human and I were playing and I got scared and runned under the bed with the thing still attached to me and it was clattering and I was going crazy and then all of the sudden I stopped making noise and the Human thought I had strangled myself so she ripped the queen-size mattress off the bed and the tipped up the box spring and I shot outta there like a canon ball and the thing fell off me and the Human was stuck in that bedroom, sweating and trying to put the bed back together. It was really funny to watch her but she was saying a lot of HBO words. So now she is REALLY careful not to let the string wrap around me. In fact, I wouldn’t play with wand toys for a few months after that memorable night!

Oh dear, we just read Spitty’s comment! Mom is very careful with our string toys and they are never left out when mom isn’t playing with us. If we get ahold of the string the toy drops deaded to the floor and Mom tells us it is time to “drop it”. Mom has always been afraid of us losing teeth to the string.
