A lot of you have been asking what the resident cats think of having a new kitten in the house, so this week, we’re answering that question.
Pierre: She’ll never find me in here!
Pierre: Aunt O was putting this together for Cousins Shep and Earl, but when she left the room, I found it on the kitchen table. What a perfect hiding place from that kitten.
Pierre: Everywhere I go, that kitten is there. On the bed where I like to sleep, on the sofa where I like to watch TV with the manpeep, in the window where I watch squirrels. Even on the cat tree. But not in here.
Pierre: Sure, I hiss at the kid sometimes, but it’s just to tell her not to crowd me so much. A cat just needs his space. Kitten-free space.
Pierre: There’s no way that kitten will come near these scary teeth. It’s a perfect hiding place.
Pierre: * sigh *
I think you are going to need a better hiding space, Pierre.

dude – all we can say is that eventually they tend to grow out of the pesky stage (or you could get lucky and the shark will eat her)

Oh Pierre! Such a horrible position to be in, wanting your privacy but there is a frantic kitten dogging your every step! But Cupcake is adorable times ten!
