Pierre: The head peep was sick this week, which is why you haven’t heard as much from us as you normally would. Caring for her is a full time job for us, especially when Nurse Newton falls down on the job. But never fear, Pierre, Physician Assistant, is right there to make sure she gets better.
In case you ever need to take care of your human, too, I thought I would share the most important thing to do: watch your human closely. Every time your human opens her eyes, she should see your face. That always makes humans feel better.

This means you need to follow your human from room to room. I knew the head peep was really sick when she lay on the sofa and watched television. She hardly ever does that. But I was right there to keep a VERY close eye on her.

Taking care of your human is exhausting work. Lucky for me, the head peep was in bed a lot where we could both be comfortable while I watched her.

Thankfully, she is on the mend now. It never would have happened if I hadn’t taken such good care of her. All of that watching was hard work, but it paid off! I’ll be napping extra the rest of the week to make up for the hours I missed while doing my medical duties.dex: 8675309; display: none; cursor: pointer;”>Save

Casper does this when I’m not well. He’ll follow me about and stay fairly close by. We have a saying in the house: “Kitties know.” And they do.
You did a great job, Pierre! Binga has tried doing this, but I don’t think she quite gets it. To her, keeping an eye on your human all the time also means biting her nose when she does not get up, plus constantly nagging her to get up and feed her.
She was lucky to have you around to care for her. I will have to remember your tips the next time my human gets sick. Glad she is feeling better now
Pierre, terrific job on your part. Some of us believe that you should never take your eyes off your peep. Lily’s job is to keep Mom is her sights 24/7. Mom will wake up in the middle of the night and Lily will be staring at her. So happy to hear that Mom Julie is feeling better. Oh no a kitty’s worst nightmare a sick head peep and worries that the bowls will remain empty and you will be thirsty. Good idea to always be staring at her she won’t forget you.
We are glad she feels better.
Hugs madi your bfff
Pierre, you are a sweetheart. I’m sure your peep appreciated all your love and concern. Like I tell Bear, he destroys stuff, but he fixes everything!
Pierre, you are a good good boy. And our mom feels better seeing your handsome face and she’s not even sick!
Oh Pierre!!! I am sorry your human was sick but with YOU as her PA she was in the BEST paws she could EVER be in! I would LOVE for your face to be the first face I see! xoxo
Sounds like a lot of work but you were up to it. Sending healing purrz to the head peep which may make your job easier. The nerve of some orange cats to be slacking off in her time of need.
You did a darn good job Nurse Pierre!
Well done Pierre, getting that Mom to feel better and your tactics are just perfect.. Such a smart kitty. Hope she stays feeling better.

You did a wonderful job, Pierre ! We’re glad that your mom is feeling better ! Purrs
Must lay or sit on them and purr, purr, purr!
Abby used to be the one who monitored me and would take care of me. The cats now don’t even notice. *sigh* Just one of those things I miss about her. But Pierre you sure are a good nurturer!!!
I hope the head peep is soon back on form. You did a great job of nursing her.
So glad your human is on the mend! I know seeing your sweet face would make me feel better, Pierre!
Yes indeed! Your face is the first thing she should see. We’ve found, upon occasion, if our peep doesn’t seem to be opening their eyes often enough, a bit of paw on the arm or a small pat on the nose is helpful too. You know, just in case they think to look at something else first thing…
You were the best medicine for the head peep, Pierre.
Good to hear she is feeling better, I am sure it is because of your excellent care.
You are a wonderful nurse, Pierre! It looks like you take your duties very seriously. Other kitties could learn about nursing as a kitty from you. 🙂
don’t forget that healing purr of yours.. throw it at her occasionally.
I hope you get oodles of treats to thank you for all the hard work you are doing. I’m sure she does appreciate it.
Pierre, you sound like the world’s best PA! Keep up the good work.
Oh we love it when the peep calls in sick and is actually sick. We get to lay in bed with her all day while she binges on Law and Order or Criminal Minds.
You do have very healing eyes. I’m glad you put them to good use, and I’m glad your human feels better!

Oh we would SO be after that! Um, its small, right?
