I wonder if I had opposable thumbs, it would disqualify me from cat shows?

That’s a good choice, Pierre! I think that Cinco and Manna would choose something that gives them better access to food too. Well, Cinco would probably enjoy using doorknobs too. He loves to open and shut doors.

You know, our cans have had pull tabs for at least the last 99 years, and yet when my mom opens something with the can opener, we’re all right there! I think it’s ingrained in us, or maybe a evolutionary adaptation. In any case, I’d want to be able to open those pull tabs!

Cute. Since Raven is not food oriented, I’m not sure what she’d do with thumbs.

You know, I think all cat food cans have pull tops which we need thumbs to pull. OK, can openers do open tuna cans. If I had thumbs I could open my pouches of food.
