Thank you so much for leaving a comment on our post. We were unaware the radioactive iodine treatment might not be effective the first time. Our vet doesn’t do it and had to research it to find out where we could go for the treatment. I am not sure Socks could survive two treatments as he will be very upset being away from us and in isolation. He did not do at all well when he was at Medvet for 3 days. I think he thought he had been abandoned. They were very surprised by how fast he bounced back once he was home. He is getting off the steroids faster then they thought he would. We really appreciate your feedback as this is all uncharted territory for us and our vet. She has never had a patient who has had the radioactive iodine treatment. The medication worked so well for Socks I wish he could go back on it, he doesn’t like the y/d food and with other pets in the household it is very hard to make sure he never gets other food.

Great picture Newton. Good idea to just stay in bed. We do that sometimes too. Take care.

We were thinking that maybe you or one of your meowmates was sitting on your human’s head (just like at our house) when we saw the post title. But we see we were wrong. You must have really had a restless night Miss Newton. You are rather disheveled. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

How do you do Newton. My name is Tuxedo Jack and this is the first time I have been to your blog. I am very impressed by your premise. I will be stopping by to read more and perhaps share some of my experiences with “herding” and our D.O.G.
BTW, a little bit of fluff on the nose is hardly “bed head”! You look marvelous!

Is that you, Newton. Your handsomeness has been getting a lot of blog time lately, not that that’s a bad thing.
