Ashton got her very first collar today. It was quite a production. Picture a tiny bucking bronco that can hide when she is done. This is really the best “action” photo there was. The rest was her being mad and hiding, for hours.
Bribery brought her around in the end. Food is highly motivating, even if it is in the form of the food tornado.

Well that was a production but you know what? If you get food, it’s all good.
LOL! The only time Nicki wore a collar was the spring/summer he was first adopted. He was so skinny I worried that if he ever got out someone would think he was a stray (he’s microchipped). He filled out as he grew, of course, but still has that lean body type, lucky cat. 🙂
We’re glad food managed to “persuade” Ashton to forget the collar. LOL.
We didn’t like our collars at first…now we don’t care one way or another!
We don’t wear collars as we are allowed outside and Mum worries that we could get hooked up on something and get strangled. We are microchipped though in case we get lost and get handed into the RSPCA. or a vets.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Fashion statement or not, I have put my paw down on collars. But if I could have my salmon dispensed in one of those cool tornado thingy’s….well, I’m willing to reconsider!
