Straws

Newton: I heard the humans talking about the straws being bad for the world.

Newton: There might even be a time when it’s hard for them to get straws. So this one is mine!

Newton: Straws are the perfect toys! They are fun to grab and bite.

Newton: They are lightweight, so they are easy to steal from the table or counter.

Newton: Plus they make you make very funny faces. The humans can’t resist a cat making funny faces.

Newton: So save the straws. At least save a few of them for me.

Can you believe we’ve never had straws as toys? We’ve been deprived!

That final photo is hysterical. Our mom uses stainless steel straws. Phooey! We’ve never really found them interesting, however. Sawyer has just discovered springs. That’s another thing the rest of us have never played with. Enjoy, Newton. You better start stealing and hiding as many straws as you can find. Newton, we don’t have any straws around, but we have plastic spoons! And believe me, any plastic is recycled, because our town picks up recycling! And so does my office. I’d like to find metal straws someplace…

There will be always straws around for you Newton. You are having such a blast in the photos. Love seeing you with the attack mode face. Your showing that straw who the boss is. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful weekend.

I love playing with straws but you can buy the new ecologically friendly ones on Amazon. another thing dumping millions of gallons of plastic in oceans is disposable contact lenses that are flushed down the toilet. I wonder if humans will get rid of them.

Straws weren’t meant to share, right, Newton? Looks like that you mastered that one.

You had better send your mum out stocking up on straws in case they get banned!
