Cupcake: Wednesday is send a card to a friend day, and I found the perfect card! It’s about togetherness. And cats. And it’s funny, too! So I want to send it to my sister, Chanel.
Cupcake: There’s just one problem. I don’t know how to write a card.I know it has something to do with a pen, but what do I do with the pen? Mr. Newton! Can you help?
Newton: Sure, kid. When you see a pen, you go like THIS. If you do it hard enough, the pen goes all the way across the floor under the sofa.
Cupcake: I have to write my card under the sofa? There sure are a lot of rules I still need to learn.
Newton is right about pens, Cupcake… and yes, it’s hard to write cards under the sofa. That’s why I’m glad ours is set up so high.

Our humans know that when they can’t find a pen , all they have to do is look under the sofa ! Where would our humans be without us to keep them organized ? 🐱
Mr. Newton is right, Cupcake, pens are great to play with. I hide all my pens from my cat though. He says I’m a big meanie. 😉

Mom Paula finally helped us put our card together to send this morning. She said something about needing to go to the post office.

I happen to be a master champion in losing pens under stuff … writing isn’t so hard, Cupcake … but batting around the pen is a whole lot more fun!
