Purring for our Friends

Newton: Cathy Keshia commented the other day that I’ve been getting a lot of blog time recently. Well, I’m the spokescat around here. And more importantly, I have been voted “most likely to ham it up for the camera,” which gives me extra time on the blog. You have to work it if you want to succeed. But don’t work too hard, because I’m a cat, after all.

Newton on Blue

Today, I’m worried about our friends, and I’m purring loudly for them. Our friend Brian, who works to help find homes for other cats is back at the vet with urinary problems. And Nylablue, who has struggled with cystitis and IBD for some time now has pancreatitis, too. If you haven’t had a chance to visit them and let them know you’re thinking of them, please do.

We’re going to keep purring for both of them all Caturday long, and we are crossing our paws to be able to bring you some exciting news tomorrow.

We didn’t know Nylablue but we have been over to meet them and leave a comment. It is a very sad time for them.

Newton Mom says orange boys (like our Ping) know all about posing for the camera and being adorable! We love seeing you but Mr Jinx was asking for more of Ashton!! Gee I don’t know why??? *teehee*
We are purrin and purrin and purrin. We just left a comment for Brian and we are hopeful for a very good outcome very soon for him and our hearts ache for NylaBlue and her Mom. It is a very difficult time for them. We understand and only can offer up comforting words and prayers.

Thank you so much for all the purrs, I surely do appreciate them. I have been by and dropped of purrs and prayers for Nylablue, poor sweetie.

So Newton, when a kitty is as photogenic as you are, it is not surprising that they are front and center most of the time. Thanks for mentioning our good friend, Brian, and especially, our sisfur, Nylablue. We are trying to surround her with as much love and prayers as possible so she can manage the very painful injections she must have tomorrow. Have a great weekend and keep up the good work supporting Brian and Nylablue. Purrs and hugs, LO, M, MM, G, F, A, L and CJ

Thanks for the shout out Newton. I didn’t know you guys had a spokescat. Yes, you do have to work it and so does a stunning cat such as myself.
