Ashton is using the sun stripes to counterbalance her racing stripes. Thus allowing her to better blend into her background and stalk the other cats more effectively. Either that or she would like someone to open the blinds!

Little stripey kittens are super cute. They peek out at you and break your heart.

Then they grow up and learn how to do tech support, open your cabinets and cuddle when convenient for them.
