Cats Herd You

Being the man of the house means sometimes you have to make the big decisions. Things like should I lounge on the bed or the cat tree could have major ramifications down the line, so each choice most be weighed heavily. Life is tough being the oldest!

Although Ashton is not a big fan of the flashy box, she is quite a looker and when she does eventually sit still long enough for a few photos, her beautiful markings are quite evident.

We all hope, as she gets older, that she becomes more tolerant of the flashy box so we can share her likeness with everyone more often.

After all of that inspecting, Newton needs a rest. That was his work allotment for the week.

The Great Inspector N has now decided the new tree is worth his attention. Like any good inspector, he starts at the top.

Then, methodically, he checks each level to be sure he doesn’t miss anything.

Something of interest must have needed a second pass. Good catch, N!

He leaves no board unchecked, not even the ones right under his paws.

The good Inspector makes note that this location would make a great stakeout spot. Especially if his target happened to be lounging in the bedroom.

Not such a great view here. Move along.

Hmmm. An interesting place to hide toys.

All in all, not a bad days work.
