Newton: I want to personally issue an apology to all of you who were creeped out by yesterday’s post. As spokescat, it’s my job to make sure that this is a fun place to visit, and you see what happens when you let a human anywhere near the computer unsupervised.
The problem is that I’m a cat, and I have to sleep eighteen hours a day. That’s a long time for me to leave her unsupervised.
Do you think I need to lock her in the bathroom while I snooze? Or shut off the cable modem again?

ONLY eighteen hours a day? Newton, you need to RELAX.
It’s okay, Newton. We won’t hold it against you. You can’t watch your human 24/7.
Clove says she should be held down by you in her lap or locked in the human litter box room- you cannot be too careful when it comes to humans making spectacles of themselves and/or the family! Clove finds using a firm paw with me helps quite a bit too.
I say lock her in the bathroom! I do want to mention that I had no idea there were Instagramming kitties in my area! One of them my human actually recognized (she lives with humans who have a record store and she comes to the store with them often)!
We vote for locking her in the human litter box room ! Or maybe you could organize naps turnover with the other cats of the house to watch her ? Purrs
We went back to see yesterday’s post, and found it quite interesting. If you’re uploading pics to the internet’s various social media sites you really can’t complain if someone is tracking where the photos are taken. If you’re that concerned about privacy, don’t post. Simple.
This would be why we don’t do FB or Twitter or Pinterest, or anything else but blog. As it is, Google knows everything about us anyway.
Everybody has a choice and if they don’t want their pictures on there, say so or be careful where you post them.
Have a great day.
Yeah, it’s tough to keep an eye on those humans all the time. You just gotta do the best you can, Newton. It’s okay.
Hey, humans are just human and sometimes all you can do is love them.
I think shutting the cable modem off is a good idea.
Humans aren’t as clever as us cats Newton so let her off with a reprimand this time.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Newton we thought the post you did yesterday was very interesting and also a PSA. There are some who may not be aware of the GEO ramifications on their phones, ipads or cameras. OR even allowing your device to know your location. So I see it as informative for those who may not have understood that they were broadcasting their location. I went and looked and nope there was no trace of any of us cats on this foray. So Newton she really did a good thing!
mol! Newton, It is tough job to keep our humans properly snoopervised, isn’t it? your ideas are good ones. Maybe you need to install security cameras so you know what your peeps get up to while you are sleep…er… otherwise occupied. Maybe Pierre and Ashton will help you and take shifts. Enjoy your Easy Sunday!

Newton, don’t worry. We understand that humans can test our patience. No one will hold you accountable for your human’s musings.
There’s no explaining humans, Newton. I totally didn’t like that cat spy thing, either. Does that guy have nothing better to do than harangue us? I’m glad we pretty much live under a rock!
We won’t lock your Treat Dispenser in the bathroom, Newton. 😉 Shutting off the cable modem sound like a better option.
Me think that chewing off the cable to the modem is a furry GOOD idea 🙂
XOXO
Oh yeah… Peeps require CONSTANT supervision. Can’t leave ’em alone for even a minute. A minute is all it takes for them to cause major trouble. MOUSES!

Newton,
Locking in the bathroom is no good. I’m certain they can break out, what with the thumbs and all. I’m liking the idea of modem destruction. Very covert. Or perhaps sleeping pills???
; ) Katie
P.S. Thank you so much for the sweet birthday wishes for Glogirly and helping to make our comment-a-thon a huge success! xo, Katie & Waffles
Oh dear Cod! Buddy, you guys gotta do a better job of snoopervising or we’ll have to drum you out of the Blogosphere. Oh wait–I sleep like 18 hours too–and frankly, I have no idea WHAT she does while I’m not keeping track of her. Sigh.
MOL Newton fact is humans are sneaky and sometimes impulsive…we cannot watch them 24/7
Hugs madi your bfff
It’s a tough job but someone’s gotta do it. Thank Cod you’re on the job. (Except when you’re napping. ) 😉

Newton, I love these pictures of you! I thought that web site was cool. It doesn’t show where the kitties live, just their area, which was already available when their humans posted their pictures. Plus, it was educating for those humans that didn’t know that pictures could contain that info.
Pop says indoor cats don’t have to sleep 18 hours that we do it cos we’re bored which is true in my case. TW embarrasses me all the time.
You need to spend that 18hrs IN her lap if you can’t lock up the computer I guess.
