New scratcher is cool

20111019-231110.jpg

Turbo Trac got a new insert. Cardboard isn’t usually allowed in the house as a scratcher (it encourages cats to scratch on all things cardboard). Everyone had to check it out!

Talia and Pierre take a closer look, at the scratcher and each other. They are not always noted for making nice to each other.

Talia looses interest, lower right, so Newton moves in and Pierre gives it a scratch.

Obviously a little nip involved. Pierre flops over and gives Newton a look.

Now Pierre shows off those tummy spots!

I think he is enjoying this a little too much!

Pierre claims ownership (for now) of the Turbo Trac. Newton does not seem phased.

Do you prefer to play with the inserts in the turbo track to playing with the ball and having fun?

We have a turbo track (which Nicki likes and Derry ignores), but we don’t have the inserts! We’re missing out! Guess what’s going on our Christmas list?

That Turbo Track is so cool! We’ve got one…with the scratcher insert too…but we never use the scratcher! Mom even puts catnip on it, and we just eat the nip off!
