Manscaping Monday

Newton: I need to report a theft that’s about to happen.

Newton_sits_on_top_of_cat_tree_sm

I heard that I have an appointment at the vet for manscaping today.

Don’t worry, I’m not getting a lion cut. I’m still too much in charge around here to allow that to happen! But my glorious armpit floof is going to be gone after this appointment!

Newton watches the iPad, his armpit floof on display

The head peep keeps saying things about it being matted and saying I have dreadlocks in my armpits. I’m pretty sure that’s rude. She’s probably just jealous, so she is stealing the symbol of my mancat virility.

Newton_Lounges_on_tile_sm

I promise to love all of you ladycats just as much even with my armpit floof gone, and I wanted to tell you now, just in case you didn’t recognize me without it. I’ll always be the lady’s cat, no matter what.

I have to run. Time for me to go hang out in the closet so this isn’t too easy for them.

Dreadlocks in the armpits! And we thought we heard everything! Psst…perhaps a nose bitey in the wee hours of the morn would express your dissatisfaction over theese deal! (We’re sure that the Ladycats will still love you though and we hopes that your visit goes well there, buddy.)

Hahaha, Newton. We’re pretty certain your Head Peep isn’t jealous of your armpit floof. MOL.

Mommy had a few cat clients who were brought to her to have their armpit floof, unfloofed. Along with their butt floof…

Fortunately we don’t have butt floof but mum is so mean she has a tiny pair of scissors next to her chair so when Hannah gets upon her lap for a cuddle and lays with her arms up in the air she snips and snips the at matts until they’re gone! Even though she hates it she prefers that to a car ride to the torturers!

You have literally cracked us up today. You are a funny man cat.
Your mom has your armpits shaved due to matting and dreadlocks. Oh that is classic we won’t think of it as bad it just makes you unique and twice as manly.
    Will there be pictures?
    Hugs madi your bfff

We want to see pics afterward, of course. ๐Ÿ™‚

Angel Chumley used to have his butt and hind end routinely shaved, he would mat so badly. He always looked pretty funny afterward, according to our human. At least this is just your armpits…right?

Don’t feel too bad. MomFOD shaves the dog’s butt periodically because she gets knots everywhere. You’ll spend less time grooming, more time lovin’. – Crepes.

MEWHAHAHA Newton you are the coolest dude, you could never be less than manly even without your armpit floof! Kaspars sends you a high paw on your plans to play hide and ‘strain to catch’- he approves making the peeps work for it.

Yep. Sounds like a good place to go to make them work to get that floof. Our new kid, Einstein, has floof. He has gobs of knots hanging under his tail. MOL. Dad says he is not tackling them until it is time to visit the vet for his 6 month, um, adjustment.

I think the ladycats will still go wild about you without your armpit floof. You are a very handsome mancat ๐Ÿ™‚ Plus, matted hair is totally out this season. Well sculpted fur is the new thing.
