Mancat Monday with the Cousins

Cousins Shep and Earl got a new toy. Well, actually, we got a new toy, but when we didn’t like it, we graciously gave it to our cousins. Don’t tell them it was a hand-me-down! The new toy is a ball that makes all kinds of sound effects when you move it.

Shep: Listen to this thing!

Earl: It’s meowing. Is there a cat in the ball?

Earl: You aren’t playing with it. When is my turn to play?

Shep: Later. Maybe after the peep goes to bed. She would love these sound effects while she’s trying to sleep.

Shep: I’m going to lay here and practice moving it around so I can make the most noise with the least effort.

Shep: What do you mean, we can’t keep it past bedtime?

In other cousin news, they have a new window perch. We were skeptical that suction cups could support a mancat of Cousin Shep’s size, but it works really well, and now he has a comfy view of the bird TV.

    Oh boy, cool toy!
I’ve wondered about those suction cup window perches, good to see one in action! I wonder if one would hold a 12 pound kitty?

Oh boy, thank you for answering on our blog! It’s so surprising that those suction cups hold up a 15 pound kitty! Cool beans, we are going to look for one!

We had one of those once that hung off a radiator and was used all winter long. After the winter the radiator hung off the wall!

Mommy always wondered about those type of window perches. They are such a great idea but she worried about those suction cups. She is pretty sure it won’t be able to hold the combine weight of Meow-Me, Coco and Felix. The three of them enjoy snuggling in the hammock at the same time!

Boy you cousin are in the “swing” of things now. Love the new comfy snooze spot Cousin Earl. Enjoy your toys and I bet if you hid it good you can play with it when the human goes to bed at night.

That sure is a comfy-looking bed! And we might need to find one of those toys because someone named Pia chewed the chirpy bird toy to bits! Purrs….

That toy sounds like fun. I think you should be allowed to play with it in the middle of the night though.

May we suggest you try hiding that cool and noisy toy before bed time then you can magically find it in the middle of the night? Or wait a little bit before playing with it for an early morning breakfast call.
