Newton: I know you’ve been waiting since Monday for an udpate on my manscaping appointment, and I didn’t want to make you wait all weekend for another Mancat Monday to have an update.
It was traumatic, ladycats! I used my cutest look, but I had to go to the vet anyhow.
It took three people to hold me down for my manscaping.
But before I knew it, my beautiful mancat armpit fluff was all over the table instead of where I worked so hard to grow it.
I fought so mightily, that the vet only removed my mats and my left manly armpit floof. As you can see, my right mancat armpit floof proved too much for his noisy clippers.
Leaving only my left — HEY! Don’t show that to the ladycats. Ladycats, don’t look at me on the right side until it grows back, okay?
So embarrassing, my unmancatlike armpit on the internet! It’s going to take a while to live this one down.

Oh my goodness, I’m sorry you had to suffer such an ordeal. You put up a valiant fight and managed to save one armpit from the clipper. That’s success when you’re fighting an unfair fight against multiple humans.
Awwww Newton, you are the bravest, manliest, mancat there is to go through such a mighty ordeal. You fought hard, you fought with valor, your fight was one to go down in history! Do not fear for your one floofy armpit fluff is not a sign of weakness, but a symbol of your courage under insane human grooming standards. There is no need to worry or be embarrassed about being seen this way on the internets, for the ladycats are only going to view it as manly and be endeared by your sacrifice to stand up for feline armpit floof freedom. Hold your head and floofless armpit high!
Newton we were wincing as we looked at the pictures of you being tortured by the vet and his brutal shaver. It’s a wonder you didn’t scratch and bite (we would have) but you were so brave to withstand all that pain. Was that a seat belt we saw holding your carrier in place on the way to the vets as it looks just how we are transported to our torturers?
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
You’re the bravest, Newton, and you fought like a lion against that human army to save one of your floofy armpit, despite the fight was unfair. Paws up ! Purrs
Lucy says she thinks you are super handsome manscaped or not!
Man, Newton, we’re so glad you survived that ordeal. Guess you’re gonna have lopsided armpits for awhile.
Newton, you look so handsome with your new hair cut. Bet it feels better too. Hope all of you have a great day.
You are some fierce, fightin’ cat, Newton! Three peeps to hold you down, and they could not win. Way to go!
Newton, if angel Chumley were here he’d be laughing at you. He LOVED being shaved! The groomer would tell our mom that the clinic staff would stop and gawk, because he’d lie on his back, all limbs out, and let her shave his tummy and hind end, no problem. ๐
However, the brushing was another matter! LOL. That required the cone, to keep him from biting. Go figure.
We think you look handsome anyway, and you have so much fur that no one will even notice the armpit. ๐
don’t worry, Ivy still loves you….and besides, you will be cooler for summer ๐
((Newton)) We know this was traumatic for you to have to go through the humiliation but your hooman knows you will feel so much better with NO mats! (MOM nearly wrote mates instead of mats). We still all think you look very handsome and so dreamy!
Poor baby! We think you are still a super handsome, hunky mancat!!!
It’s ok, Newton. I still think you’re hot. – Crepes.
You won’t like our Mommy, Newton. She is a beast with the clipper. Really. We’re glad WE have no armpit furs. MOL.
Dang pal, that one human was holding you so tight her thumb turned green!
Yikes buddy, that was not fun at all…The Ladycats are going to think you are real rad with dreads on one armpit now!
Well, at least you aren’t totally NOOD!
*sigh*
Yr nekkid pals at The Lounge
Way to go Newton! Do you list to one side now with all the extra weight from the floof?
Does it feel better not having those matted spots pull? I have short hair so I wouldn’t know.
