Little Dior, Not-So-Little Cupcake

About a year ago, I met a little kitten named Dior at the BlogPaws conference in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She slept between my pillows and stole my heart.

Last week, the same tuxedo cat, now named Cupcake, accompanied me to the BlogPaws conference in Kansas City, Missouri. She still sleeps between the pillows in hotels.

A year ago, she was already developing a cautious expression to wear when in the company of strangers.

Today, Cupcake uses a similar facial expression when exposed to new experiences.

Cupcake met lots of new friends, spent time with lots of people, and even gave fist bumps to a lucky few over the course of the past week. She also spent time with her littermate, Chanel. We’ll have more about that right here later this week.

My human forgot to ask Cupcake for a fist bump! And she had been meaning to too.

The mom said it was so much fun meeting Cupcake all grown up now after spending time with her last year as a cute kit.

Awww…. Cupcake is BEAUTIFUL! What a pretty face, she has. And that sleepin’ between the pillows is so incredibly endearing. I think I might be in love. PURRS

Mom cannot believe she never even got to meet Cupcake. It was something she’d really hoped to do. Did Cupcake and Chanel eventually iron out their differences? Hope both Cupcake and Mom Julie had a safe trip home. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
