Light, Please

Newton doesn’t sleep in the bed. He has his own bed, and he prefers that.

He also prefers that the bedside light be turned off promptly. Otherwise, he has to use The Look to ask for it to be switched off.

Newton: It’s time. Do you mind? Trying to sleep over here.

Newton is ready for bedGoodnight, Newton!

We have to sleep on the bed with the humans – at least that is what my human says! Sometimes just to be contrary, I’ll sleep under the bed and then come out after my human has fallen asleep.

Good job Newton, training that human to turn that light out promptly. Hope you all have a Happy Friday.

Lucy is an all over sleeper. Some nights she loves to cuddle us and others she wants no part!

We sleep on the bed most of the time. And silly Ernie actually likes to sleep under a lamp when it’s on…he calls it “lamp-bathing.”

Truffles starts the night in bed with me and then around 4am moves to her kitty bed to look out the window. She likes when I stop reading and turn the bedside light out too 🙂

Lucy never sleeps with Mum she likes to sleep on a “Peggy Blankie on the sofa. Hannah doesn’t start off on the bed but usually arrives during the nighy when she proceeds to take Mum’s warm side of the bed and push her over to the cold side!
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

You gotta train those humans to do what you want.

Milita never sleeps in the Mom’s bed, but sometimes Carmine does after the Mom goes to sleeps.

I don’t blame you, Newton. I like the lights turned out at a certain time. Lately TW has been up till all hours and I don’t like it.

That’s funny. He really does look annoyed at the light.
Mom makes me come to bed with her. She says I can leave if I want, but I must start the night in bed with her. She thinks it’s rude of the humans to go to bed and leave me sitting out in the house somewhere all by myself. She’s weird!

Newton, our humans wish fewer of us would sleep in the bed. If the light stays on too late, we just put our paws over our eyes. Seems you have your human trained quite well. You are so adorable in this photo. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
