Halloween may not be until tomorrow, but Cupcake tried out her Halloween costume over the weekend. She heard that her local Starbucks was hiring, and she thought Halloween would be her big chance to finally get inside the doors.
Cupcake: Don’t pay any attention to the part about “no pets please.”

All of Cupcake’s barista friends came outside to take her photo and to have their photos taken with her. She still didn’t get inside those doors, though. Better luck next time, Cup!
Cupcake’s costume is an apron borrowed from one of the plush “bearista” bears sold around the holidays in Starbucks stores. I used green thread to attach it to the collar of a black kitten harness. The apron strings are clipped to the belly band of the harness with a pair of clips I removed from conference lanyards I found in a drawer. Having them clipped turned out to be convenient when Cupcake stuck her arm over the apron strings.
OMC, that is the most PERFECT Halloween costume ever! Good job, Cupcake!

Whoa! Are they dense in Starbucks. You could be their biggest attraction and drive in lots of customers. The fact that you’re not allowed inside is just wrong. I’ll have a venta nip Catte, part cream part lactose-free no sugar but a hint of silvervine.
Seriously, Cupcake…someone should send a photo of you in your barista apron to the CEO of Starbucks! Maybe there will be lattes for life, or whipped cream for life…or something like that! Saw you on FB and your adorableness made me smile from ear to ear.
