Hiding place

20111102-221047.jpg

While Pierre is often found snoozing in the hammock part of this corner cube, it is not as usual, to find him holed up inside the bottom part. Hence the odd angle (table legs), he doesn’t really use it so it is not as easy to get to. There is a bit of unrest in the house since Ashton came home from the v-e-t from being fixed and Pierre is the low man in the pecking order.

Perhaps all will be well again when the “vet smell” has worn off.

There’s always unrest when I come home from the vet because Wally thinks I smell funny. So our mom has now started taking Wally along whenever I go to the vet. And it really helps. But when Wally goes to the vet, I don’t hafta go because when he comes home, I don’t care what he smells like. We hope things settle down once that vet smell wears off of Ashton.

Aw, Pierre…We hope things settle down soon. When Annie was still alive, it was constant h*ll between her and Nicki, both of them hated the other, most of the time, even after several years. So it’s never fun when there’s kitty strife in the house.

Maybe everyone could be doused (okay, not really doused, but dabbed) with a bit of the same scent, whatever it is? We’ve never had a problem with the vet scent, but we know some kitties sure do!
