Then she says he is cute and wants to get all up in his business to take his picture.

Yeah, we do that sometimes too, and no way are we giving back “the mom’s” spot. If the human gets up, it’s fair game!
Don’t let her take your chair away, Pierre!! Yes, it is your chair now and she needs to know that!!
Pierre if you are curled up on that chair it would be very rude of your mom to remove you from it. If you are snoozing there it’s your property.
