Foggy Morning View

Newton: This past weekend, the weather was really foggy here. There usually isn’t as much to see on foggy mornings as there is on clear mornings.

But over the weekend, I actually saw something unusual in the fog. The neighborhood deer are getting more skittish as we have more highway construction nearby, and they don’t usually come out in the open after dawn. The fog must have confused this one.

That is one gorgeous picture. It is fun too see the deer even in the fog. He may have been confused and things probably just looked funny to him since it was so foggy. Have a great day.

Poor deer, really. Many home owners, my mom included sometimes, are wishing the deer would not come to their yard and eat all the vegetation. But when you take their homes for selfish human use…they have to go somewhere. My human brother has hawks who are there enjoying the delicatessen at the bird feeders. But the woods they lived in right behind his house are now condos. The hawks gotta eat. Their homes were destroyed. He loves Hawks so all is good.

We have a park near to us where there are lots of deer and they aren’t scared of humans.
The park is where Lady Jane Grey lived before she was beheaded.

Wow! You got a great photo of that deer. That is an unusual sight for a kitty. We have a few that come out around here all the time. They are a beautiful sight.

What a great foggy morning surprise! We haven’t had too many visitors to our neighborhood lately, either. I think they’re all snuggled up somewhere and doing their best to avoid the snow. Thanks for sharing a beautiful photo!

Deer are so beautiful. It actually makes me sad to see them venturing so close to homes, that’s because man is building so much on THEIR land and they have nowhere to go. It deeply saddens me.
