This was an early outing for Newton. He was bold and brave, and went everywhere in the house, including Pierre’s inner sanctum (the closet).
Notice Newton is oblivious to Pierre’s blatant unhappiness for the interloper.
The have obviously since gotten over their issues. Well, most of them.
Well, these things take time. Sammy and Moosey took some time to be okay with each other. Even though they aren’t “best buds,” they get along pretty well now. 🙂

Pierre’s face shows such utter displeasure at Newton approaching him! We’re sure you’ll suddenly find them snoozing together when you least expect it!
