Decorating for Halloween

Newton: I love Halloween! It’s my favorite holiday because I’m orange, and orange is extra-fashionable for the holiday. So now that it’s October, I’m decorating for the holiday. This is my haunted house.

Did I hear you ask what it’s haunted by? Well, by a huge, fluffy, orange tail, of course.

The Halloween ornament is in place over the door. Perfect. I can’t wait for Ashton to come by and want to see my haunted house. She’s such a scaredy cat. Let the party begin!

Are you going to decorate for Halloween this weekend, kitties?

We love your haunted house, Newton! Carmine loves Halloween because orange is in at this time of year, too. I bet the kitties would love one of those haunted houses, too!

What decorating? Our WHOLE HOUSE is haunted!

Oh, wait, I think that’s because of Caroline.

We usually decorate too, but I’m hoping the dreaded chicken hat stays in hiding.

Pop’s birthday is on Halloween so he always decorates. We’re not sure about this year since he has the herniated disk.

That house is fabulous! I love it! We will be decorating here, of course, especially as this will be the first year that we’ll have all-black rescue cat Troy with us. He should fit into the decor so nicely!

Doods! Seriouslies! Allie scares us enough EVERY day of EVERY week, just being herself. We’d kinda have heart palpitations if she got ready for HALLOWEEN!

    Is that like a B&B?
    Do you serve breakfast?
How about little tea sandwiches in the afternoon?
fyi…I’m going to want catnip on my pillow.

(Last year Glogirly bought a pumpkin and made us pose by it. That was the extent of our Halloween decor. haha!)
