Cupcake: The humans think it’s funny that I like to get in high places. I don’t understand why they think this high place is the funniest of all.
Cupcake: This has a great view. It is just above the human litter box, and I can watch all the water splash into the sink if I look over this side.
Cupcake: Turn the sink up so it splashes a little more, please.
Cupcake: I’m going to supervise everything from up here.
Cupcake: Make sure you bury that when you finish, OK? I only bury Pierre’s business. You’re on your own.

That must be interesting for the humans when they have to use their litter box. Shadow says if you haven’t tried it, you gotta jump down on someone’s shoulders while they are, um, occupied. It really ups the excitement.

Reminds me of a story my brother told about cat-sitting for his friend … he walked into the laundry room and jumped ten feet when he heard a meow from the top of the cabinets above the washer. Apparently, this cat was known for that … and being an escape artist. My brother once chased a cat around the neighborhood for an hour before his wife texted him and told him the escape artist was in her lap at home 🙂
