Cupcake got around a lot on Saturday! Of course, she made a stop at the coffee shop to see her friends there.
She wasn’t expecting to see something else. Cupcake tiptoed around a column to get a better view.
Do you see the dog, too? The dog’s human kept him a respectful distance away while the other human went inside to get their coffee.
Cupcake also visited the vet. But it wasn’t the scary kind of visit. Our scale broke last week, and Cupcake needed a weigh-in before she could get her flea medicine. She is over 4 1/2 lbs already!
While she was there, she jumped down onto the floor to look around the exam room. Since it was early in the morning and this wasn’t an actual exam visit, the doors to the exam room were open, and Josie, the resident cat at our vet’s office, strolled in. Josie saw Cupcake a moment before Cupcake saw her.
Josie and Cupcake touched noses.
After a moment, Josie lifted a paw and waved it at Cupcake to be sure the kitten knew she wasn’t allowed to stick around. That was OK, because Cupcake had other plans. She had shopping to do!
We visited her friends at the pet store, and Cupcake decided she wanted to ride in the cart on top of her Sleepypod instead of walking.

Finally, Cupcake got to spend some quality time in the yard. We finally had some dry days, so she was able to lay down on the grass in the shade. What else could a girl want on a summer’s day?
Cupcake, you are having so much fun! I never get to go have coffee with my human. If she does get any, she always brings it back to our office. I need to get her out more. (Well, aside from these weekend trips!)
Wow, Cupcake, you did all that in one day? You really get around. 🙂
