It has been ridiculously rainy here. The weather man said a few days ago that many areas nearby have already exceeded the average rainfall for the month in our torrential afternoon thunderstorms.
The stormy skies can make for some nice views from our window.
While we wait for the rainy days to end, we are ready to pile into the yellow submarine at a moment’s notice to keep us safe if the water rises!
I wish some of those storms would make their way out to southern California, where we are experiencing the worst drought ever!
Thank goodness you have a submarine to keep you safe but make sure it’s well stocked with food and lots of treats so you won’t get hungry.

We aren’t sure if that yellow submarine will be able to do much of protecting you if the water rises. But we’re sure it is very comforting to be in it during a storm (and you’re nice and dry at home).

We’ve had lots of afternoon storms here too. They blow in for about 20 minutes and then they are gone. Hope the rain clears up soon!
