Chilly Weather

The weather turned cold this weekend in most of the United States, and that includes here in Florida. Cupcake was not amused.

We tried to go to the coffee shop, but it was too cold for civilized cats, even cats wearing sporty jackets.

It was so cold that she didn’t even really appreciate the work of art that the barista drew for her. How cute is the little paw print instead of a simple X?

Cupcake couldn’t wait to make her way back into my lap and under a blanket.

So most of our outings were indoors. We explored the holiday shop in a local hardware store. do you think Cup can drive this truck?

She also made some strange-looking friends. How do they see out from under there?

We are lucky that cold snaps never last in Florida, and it should be warmer next weekend. Until then, we’re staying indoors where it’s warm and out of the wind!

Were you able to stay warm this past weekend?

You look pretty snazzy in your cute jacket! I wish my mommy would take me on outings too. If only I would let her put a harness on me.

You’re a fashionista, CC. We had snow Saturday but I didn’t even look out the window. No more iced lattes for TW.

Cupcake, you make friends wherever you go. We’d love if you came to visit us! We’re not a fan of cold either – last night Bear escaped and promptly turned tail and ran back inside. His tail almost froze off!
