Bedtime Games

Cupcake: I get to play a new game at bedtime. The humans think I need some wearing out before they sleep. I don’t know why.

Cupcake: So every night, I wait for my special feather time in bed. This is fun!

Cupcake: I’ve got the feather now! This is the best part, because I can show what a mighty hunter I am.

Cupcake: What do you mean I can’t take it with me? * GRRR * My feather toy!

Cupcake: Do you get possessive of your toys, too?

I don’t get mean possessive, but I do want to run away with my favorite toy! It’s a Nekofly, and I will take it downstairs, along with its rod, if my human lets go of it.

Too cute Cupcake. Our Loo loves to carry her toy away. Cupcake, you are just the best. Have a good day.

Oh wow, feather on the bed play! That sounds super fun. We sometimes bring Mummy toys in bed but she is always asleep then. And then we play with them without her help so when she does wake up we’re too sleepy to play.

Daiquiri has some possessive issues with the spring toys. Otherwise no one else seems to have any. Chanel was killing the bed mice last night as mom was reading though…

You caught that feather toy, so you should get to take it.

My two boys love the feather toys – I have two going at the same time – one will catch it and then go after the other. They are constantly trying to run away with them. Now that they have found they can get on the counter the toys have to be hidden in the closet.

Bear used to play tug of war with his toys and then he’d run all over the house with the wand toy dragging behind him 🙂
We’re not as organized and consistent but Momma tries to tire the kitties out before bed around here too.

The MacEllis kitties seem to find it more fun to chase each other on the bed and run on mommy’ s head at night ! When she tells us to stop and go to sleep , we hide under the bed until she falls asleep … and the fun begins again ! Mommy doesn’t like the night chase game.

I’m holding a sit in until I get bedtime play! Lexy loves toys more than I do, and she brings them to Mommy all night long.
