When you’re a kitty-about-town and the thermometer starts to dip, you have to find something to do that’s indoors. So Cupcake did some seasonal shopping this weekend, looking for some autumn decorations.
She thought this pumpkin should come home with us for sure, since she wouldn’t have to share it with the other cats.
Cupcake: I’m Cupcake C. Pumpkin. Any Questions?
But her favorite part of the seasonal decorations were the scarecrows.
Cupcake: Is someone behind me?
She wasn’t too sure about this one at first. He seemed to be laying down on the job.
Cupcake: Are you feeling okay, mister?
But she seemed to recognize that her new friend, like any other person, would enjoy a little cuddle.
Cupcake: You can go finish your shopping. I’ll be right here.
We didn’t have a place to put her new friend at home, but we promised Cupcake she could go back and visit him again soon. He’ll probably be waiting eagerly for her to return. Wouldn’t you?

Adorable! We know you already know that, Cupcake but we have to keep on saying it because it’s true. Other than libraries, and cafes and home improvement stores, and bookstores and a dozen other places, we think every craft and décor store should have a resident cat or two.
Cupcake, I’m betting that other shoppers were ‘oohing’ and ‘ahhing’ over you!
