A Little Treat

20130103-211639.jpg

A small candy shaped nip toy on clearance at the pet store was hard to pass up.

It seemed that the nip wasn’t very strong.

Pierre has always had a fondness for it and he wasn’t very interested.

Newton, however, thought it was much more fascinating.

It is possible nip had nothing to do with it, but he was having a heck of a time batting it around!

It wasn’t giving any playback, like rolling or making noise, so something was keeping his attention…

Until the inevitable (and should be patented) Newton Photobomb!

Brulee could care less about nip, but Truffle likes it in any shape or form.

Toys don’t have to have nip or make noises to keep a kittys attention, sometimes it’s the color! Star goes nuts for black toys. We haven’t figured out Leo’s favorite color yet, mostly he likes feathers!
    Love the photobomber!

That toy looks very whappable Newton – is it the swirls on the top that attract you?

Some of these cats around here love the nip and some could care less. But that toy has Newton interested. Good for you Newton. Hope all of you have a great Week end.

mol at Newton! A lot of times toys have more of a whap-factor than nip-factor to us too 🙂
