Newton: Hey, kid, what are you doing outside? If I’m not allowed out there, neither are you!
Newton: Did you sneak out the door after the humans? I followed your stroller out one day, but they told me I had to come right back in.
Cupcake: Mr. Newton, don’t talk to her!
Newton: Whaaaaaat? If this isn’t you, who is it? A fake Cupcake!
Cupcake: I don’t know, but I don’t trust her.
Our unexpected visitor was Misty, who lives a few houses away. She slipped out a torn screen in her catio, and she is super-friendly with everyone. Her friendliness is kind of amazing, since Misty was rescued from a hoarding situation.
She looks enough like Cupcake she has faked people out several times. Our next door neighbor tried to return her to us thinking Cupcake was on the loose.
We haven’t had another visit from Misty while our front porch was open, but our surveillance camera has caught her chilling on the glider on our porch.
Wow….she sure looks a lot like Cupcake!

On a more serious note, I wanted to thank you for stopping by with condolences on Nicki’s passing. It’s been so long since I’ve blogged as “Fuzzy Tales” and been part of the cat-blogging world, so I appreciate your time and care. I know that we all have been there and understand.
