No one likes that weird vet smell, but they still feel compelled to check it out. Notice how Pierre is unwilling to go all the way in for fear of having the door closed behind him.
Newton is also showing some interest. He has already.
Only one picture today. Newton, waiting for his new pal Ashton to come home. He is siting in “her room” looking into her crate. She left early this morning and will not be back until tomorrow evening. Doc says she did really well. But everyone (except maybe Talia) misses her and is eagerly awaiting her return.
Ashton spent the better part of her first two weeks in one room (her choice). Now she is staring to not just come out to explore, but to feel comfortable enough to hang out in those locations as well. Here she is on Newton’s ottoman.
Then, a huge deal! She found the holy grail of cat spots…the back of the chair in the living room (commonly referred to as the butt crease). They can see almost every direction in the house and still be close to multiple escape routes. Here she finds it for the first time. Loafing, but not totally relaxed.
After dinner, she came back. This time she slept much deeper. She was more comfortable there.
Obviously not very stressed about being out in the open, is she?
It didn’t take long for Ashton to become interested in the iPad for cat fishing.
Even with a single eye she is all over that fish!
Now we have three cats all looking for time on the iPad, even Ash will tell you cat fishing is addictive.
I think Ash has learned from her brothers that sometimes technology brings the best toys!
