Pierre spies the elephant toy!
He throws it around and rolls around with it.
When he is done, Talia comes by and checks it out.
No toy is complete without a Newton visit.
Newton loves to play and sleep in the pop-up cubes. He often can be found curled up inside one with his head propped up on the edge napping.
Today he is playing with one of his most favorite toys EVER! The discarded strip/ring from the Litter Locker.
His activities brought Pierre down to see what all of the commotion was about.
Two cats. One toy.
You will rarely see any two cats in close proximity in this house unless there is a smack down happening or they are hiding from a common foe (fear makes for strange bedfellows). Newton was not originally this close to Talia on the bed but he wanted to see what was going on in the next room without getting off of the bed. So, he just scooted over. Not up her butt enough for her to hiss or get mad, just the right amount, evidently. If he does this more often, he may finally get the grooming he so badly desires.
Pierre has decided that during this particular time, this Kickaroo is his and his alone.
The Kickaroo is one of the favorite toys in the house. It can be used as a pillow, a pull toy, a kangaroo kick toy, even thrown and fetched. Here, Pierre looks at me to make sure I know he has laid claim to his toy.
He notices another cat that may be interested in the same toy as him (in his mind). I guess being the middle child makes you paranoid.
