This was going to be a picture of Newton inside of the play cubes he likes to sleep and hide in. He had other ideas. After literally hundreds of pictures being taken, he might one day be done being curious about the phone that takes all of the pictures, but no!
Pierre has always found interesting places to sit. This towel is here because when it rains (we are currently in a record breaking dry summer) water leaks through the door of this add-on sun room and flows right through this area. In fact, if you have eagle eyes, you may catch a glimse of the elusive leak frog behind the castor to help warn us if the water gets bad enough, Woot!
I couldn’t find Talia twice in one day, and since she doesn’t get around that well, I knew she couldn’t have gone far. The first time she was buried so far in the closet it took her several minutes to make her way out once she heard me calling her, the second she was here, in one of Pierre’s quirky spots. I suppose it had sun and a towel and that was good enough for her. The bonus was annoying her younger brother.
Newton is never shy about showing off to the neighborhood. Unfortunately, when Mr. Brush comes out for a visit, he and his nappy pits disappear.
On the other side of the coin, (and house) Pierre thinks the brush is the greatest thing ever invented. He knows the word brush, where it is kept, and occasionally attempts to help himself to it (by opening the drawer it lives in). Just don’t touch the spotted tummy or you might lose your hand.
