Today, Cousin Earl isn’t just gazing off into space, he is thinking of Space Shuttles and NASA! Today marks the final journey of the final Space Shuttle, Atlantis, a slow 10 miles, from its VAB (Vehicle Assembly Building) to its new home at the Kennedy Space Center Visitors Complex.
One thing he doesn’t miss is when the shuttles came home from space (way faster than Atlantis will move today) and made that horrible boom!

We can’t even imagine having been close to the launch site and having heard one blast off. It would have been pretty scary, we think!
Hannah and Lucy says
We think it will be more peaceful for you Cousin Earl now the boomies have stopped.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
